ABOUT
With a creative director mother and a graphic designer father, Timothy’s path seemed destined. While other kids played soccer, Timothy was on the Mac pouring his time into QuarkXPress and The Adobe Suite.
In high school, he discovered his passion for photography, which led him to NYC. There, he took on photo jobs all over the world and quickly climbed the ranks from assistant to digital technician, mastering Capture One Pro to run high-stakes sets. After six years with Russell James polishing his skills, he moved on as a full-time freelancer, working with bigger names as both a lighting and digital technician, amassing a wealth of knowledge along the way.
Timothy also explored set design, developing carpentry skills that complemented his photography. Three years with James Macari sharpened his eye for light, and he even took on the role of "head of social," growing a massive Instagram following for Macari.
His career took a significant turn with CoverGirl and Grey Advertising, where he became their go-to photographer, learned drone tech, and got certified in RED camera systems. He built Grey’s in-house studio from scratch, proving his value by elevating their production capabilities.
When Grey disbanded, Timothy transitioned to Townhouse Studios, continuing to showcase his versatility. His freelance career flourished, leveraging his extensive skills in assisting, production, lighting, digital tech, set design, and art direction. Timothy brings a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and a fun, hardworking attitude to every project, whether working with high-end gear or innovating with limited resources.
